Wii Fit

I saw it in stock at Costco yesterday, but I wasn’t sure if I had enough money left in my savings account to get it. Turns out I did, and I got paid today anyway, so I made a special trip after class to go pick it up.

I’ve only put in about fifteen minutes on it so far, but it’s surprisingly fun. And unlike dance mat games, I’ll be able to play it and burn a few calories without annoying the people downstairs. Those yoga poses kinda hurt, though. Now just to get a girl over here to do it like in that video and I’ll be all set.

I got a wii fit a few weeks ago. My favorites are the ski games.

Oh, and I also agree that it’s great for someone like me who lives on the top floor, no more irritating my neighors on the floor below. I actually can raise my heart rate with some of the exercises (like the hula hoop) without making a lot of noise.

note: Don’t get ticked because I double posted, it’s going to happen a lot since we can’t edit posts.

You gotta be friggin’ kiddin’ me with that friggin’ tree pose. That shit ain’t never gonna happen.

I’ve had a hella sore back all day today. I think it’s because I was using Wii Fit last night to do jackknifes, push-ups and, worst of all, the plank. For the plank, you get on your knees, put your forearms on the balance board, then stretch out your legs and get on your toes as if you’re doing a push-up. But you just hold that pose for thirty seconds. For some reason, whenever I try to do it, my body does this weird twitchy thing - like an involuntary spasm thing. I don’t know if that’s normal or not. But I think that, combined with the others, effed up my back.

I’m never one to dope up on painkillers, but I’m gonna go pop an aspirin and see if I’ll be able to sleep tonight.
